I made the Mollie Makes crochet flowers spring wreath during our family vacation in Zandvoort. It took me a little bit over a week to have all the parts ready and joined.
Mollie Makes shared from the 20th to 26th of March 2017 a series of crochet patterns to celebrate the first week of spring. The patterns together make this spring wreath. The patterns were only 24 hours available for free download. You can now order the full pattern for only 3.50 GBP from Ravelry. The designer is Mandy O'Sullivan. You can follow her awesome Instagram crochetbyredagape or read her blog RedAgape.
I used cotton from my stash - making Marie Kondo proud (LOL). I used crochet hook 3,5. I bought the wreath at Pipoos (Dutch craft store).
For me the difficulty level was a 2 on a scale from 1 (simple) to 5 (difficult). It is a relatively easy project. To crochet the wreath is like yoga and the flowers look more difficult than they really are. Yay!
I loved this project. I'm dreaming of making another wreath in a similar style for Christmas and Easter.
What I learned
I had a refresh course of the UK crochet terms. I vote for a worldwide crochet system instead of US, UK and Dutch terms. My head is spinning.
